Press Release: Nov. 3 County Election Candidate Filing Details

Kootenai County Clerk Jim Brannon reminds people interested in running for fire district or municipal leadership roles in Nov. that the filing deadline is 5pm Sept. 4. Declarations of Candidacy for the following taxing districts in Kootenai County must be filed with the district clerk/secretary no later than 5:00 p.m. on Sept. 4, 2015 for the Nov. 3, 2015 Election. Individuals who run as write-in candidates must file a Declaration of Intent with the district clerk/secretary no later than 5:00 p.m. on Sept. 18, 2015. Such declarations are available at the District Offices or the Kootenai County Elections Office at 1808 N 3rd St, Coeur d’Alene.
