City Cable 13
Background

The City's cable channel 13 was the first city in Kootenai County with a city government cable channel. Cable Channel 13 is designated as the City of Post Falls government channel. The channel's primary function is to bring Post Falls citizens live broadcasts of government meetings which include the City Council, Planning & Zoning Commission, and Parks & Recreation Commission. The City also broadcasts a readerboard with notices from the City. Those notices include road closure information, meeting schedules, employment opportunities with the City, information on the Post Falls Library programs, Parks & Recreation activities, and any City notices for citizens. In addition the Channel 13 Readerboard posts public service announcements for other government entities, non-profit organizations, and community events for not only Post Falls, but for all of the Kootenai County area.
