Community Development Department Mission Statement: The Community Development Department is dedicated to providing highly responsive quality services that foster the goals and objectives of the community, protect the environment, enhance economic development, and promote the social welfare of the City of Post Falls.

The Community Development Department incorporates the planning, building and engineering divisions, providing one point of contact concerning development services in the City. Under this umbrella of combined services, citizens, developers and staff can coordinate projects with issues relating to building, permitting, and development through one department.
