How do I register to vote or find election information?

Are forms and City documents available online?
The City provides many of its documents and forms online. Documents can be downloaded or printed and most online forms may be filled out on your computer, but must be printed out to be signed, and returned to the appropriate department with any payment required.
I'm moving to Post Falls, who are utility service providers?
Water/Garbage - City of Post Falls Utilities;

I saw someone vandalizing public property ( a park, public building, etc) or found public property that had been vandalized, who should I call?
To report vandalism call 208-773-3517, or you can report it on the Post Falls Police Tip Site. If you see vandalism in progress call 911.

Is there a public transportation system in Post Falls?
Yes.
Both the CityLink and NICE transportation systems operate in Post Falls.
How do I contact the Post Falls School District?

Where do I go to register my vehicle/get or renew my drivers license?
Vehicle licensing is done by Kootenai County and you can contact them by phone at (208) 446-1590
Where do I go to get an Alcohol Beverage License?
Alcohol Beverage Licensing is handled by the Post Falls Police Dept.
Where do I go for a dog license?
You can purchase a dog license at the Police Department, The Animal Shelter, and Kootenai Animal Hospital. Dogs in the city of Post Falls Must be licensed. To License your friend bring your proof of Rabies vaccination. Licenses are $24.00 per year for dogs that are not spayed or neutered or $12.00 a year for spayed or neutered dogs. We accept check or cash only, no debit or credit cards are accepted.
Where is City Hall located and how do I get there?
City Hall is located at 408 N. Spokane St. in Post Falls. (Parking for City Hall is off the 4th and 5th Ave. entrances)

Who are the City Council Members?
The City Council consists of 6 council members and the Mayor. The Council members are: Skip Hissong, Linda Wilhelm, Betty Ann Henderson, Council President Scott Grant, Kerri Thoreson, and Ron Jacobson. Visit the City Council page for more information.
Where are City Council Meetings held?
City Council meets the first and third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m., Council Chambers, Post Falls City Hall, 408 N. Spokane St. (City Council Agendas)

City Government meetings are broadcast live on City Cable Channel 13 and are rebroadcast daily during the week following the meeting. You can also watch recorded meetings here on the website.
How do I contact my elected officials or other departments at City Hall?
The City of Post Falls provides a City Directory that contains many electronic mail addresses and phone numbers for elected officials and departments.You may also send correspondence to officials and departments to their attention at Post Falls City Hall, 408 N. Spokane St.., Post Falls, ID 83854.

How do I find out about City Finances & Budget?
The City of Post Falls provides the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) and the Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) also called the Annual Report to Citizens. You can find the current City Budget and the previous budget on the Finance Page under the Documents tab
How do I start or stop my utility service?

Where do I pay my utility bill?
You can sign up for Online Bill Payment or Automatic Bill Payment, pay in person at Post Falls City Hall or use the convenient utility drop boxes located at City Hall as well as at Panhandle State Bank, 3225 E. Mullan Ave., Post Falls. You can also mail your payment to: City of Post Falls, 408 N. Spokane St., Post Falls, ID 83854.
What if I can’t pay my bill?
Please contact the City Finance Department at 777-4504 to learn about your options, which may include our Fee Reduction Application for economically disadvantaged citizens.

Where can I dispose of Solid Waste?
You can dispose of solid waste at the Kootenai County Solid Waste
Transfer Station you can also dispose of waste at the Prairie Transfer Station 15580 W Prairie Ave, Post Falls, ID 83854
Does the City have a Clean Up Program so I can dispose of large waste at the curbside?
Yes these clean up days are the last two weekends in April & September
Items must be under 10 ft length and 4 ft height & width. Items that will be collected garbage, clothing, furniture, household appliances, & yard waste

How do I sign up and pay for Recreation Activities?
You can complete an Online Form, and return it to the Recreation Division located on the first floor of Post Falls City Hall, 408 N. Spokane St. More information is available by calling the Recreation Division at 773-0539 or visiting the Recreation Division page.
I'm interested in sponsoring an activity. How can I do that?
The Parks and Recreation Dept. is always looking for sponsors for a wide variety of activities, if you are interested you can contact the Parks and Rec Dept at 208-773-0539. If you just need the forms to fill out please see the Activity Sponsor Letter and Form.

I have a Public Service Announcement I’d like to put on the City's TV channel. How do I do that?
City Cable 13 is the City of Post Falls government access channel. It features local government-related issues, public service announcements, and programming for the citizens of Post Falls and Kootenai County.

I have some unused prescription medicines. Is it safe to flush them down the toilet?
It is our recommendation that all unused prescription drugs be disposed of safely by turning them into the Post Falls
Police Department, located at 1717 E. Polston. The Police Dept. accepts these drop offs 7 days a week.

The Building Division can provide you with building permit information and forms.
How can I arrange a building inspection?
